Secured by Design is the UK Police flagship initiative supporting the principles of "designing out crime" by use of effective crime prevention and security standards for a range of applications. The licensed company is able to utilise the Secured by Design logo on those products which meet the technical standard. The Association of Chief Police Officers for England Wales and Northern Ireland (ACPO) and the Association of Chief Police Officers for Scotland (ACPOS) represent the police forces of the United Kingdom and both organisations endorse and support the Secured by Design programme.

ISO 9001:2008 is the internationally recognised standard for quality. Certification to it reassures our customers that Multi Installations is fully committed to quality by continuous improvement.

The system ensures consistency and improvement of working practices, which in turn provide products and services that meet our customer's requirements. ISO 9001 is the most commonly used international standard that provides a framework for an effective quality management system.

Exors supply chain programme is specifically designed to enable organisations to best meet targets and obligations in the areas of efficiency, economic development, regeneration and procurement risk management in line with key Central Government initiatives. The Exor policy towards accreditation is based on an active and robust programme of checking, testing and independent validation of the information supplied. Exor's service is designed to deliver clients with a real risk management proposition that allows them to select approved suppliers, with confidence. Accreditation is a process in which certification of competency, viability and compliance with legal requirements and current codes of practice is presented.

Constructionline: Constructionline is the UK's register of pre-qualified local and national construction and construction-related contractors and consultants. The information on Constructionline is continually being updated.

Contractor's Health & Safety Assessment Scheme is available for use by any public and private sector organisations when shortlisting contractors, suppliers and consultants (companies) who apply to work for them. It provides information about the health and safety part of their application.

CHAS'S assessment makes sure members have compliance with basic health and safety law and they have demonstrated they can adequately manage health and safety.

Chiltern Fire provides UKAS accredited testing and independent assessment of fire resistant products to British and European standards:

BS 476: Parts 20-23
BS EN 1634-1

Including doorsets, screens, glass, seals, hardware, floors and ceilings

Third party certification demonstrates consistency of manufacture which, in combination with test evidence, provides the confidence that every product will perform as expected.

BM TRADA operates enhanced security Q-Mark schemes for doors and windows, to support Secured By Design (SBD), the police initiative to reduce crime on housing developments by incorporating crime prevention measures at the design stage.

By specifying or selecting a Q-Marked product you can be assured that it has demonstrated the required performance levels through independent accredited testing or appraisal, or independent testing or appraisal and that every product manufactured offers the same level of performance through an approved quality management system.

Performance and production continue to be regularly checked through audit testing and inspections.

ISO 14001:2004 is the internationally recognised standard for environmental management system. Certification to it reassures our customers that we are fully committed to a holistic, strategic approach to the organisations environmental policy, plans & actions having an impact on the environment and that we are an environmentally responsible organisation which complies with all environmental regulations.
