Frame Armour Profile

security doors
A frequent problem encountered on bulk door replacement schemes is the possible damage to internal decorations and finishes which can result from the removal of an existing door frame and the installation of a new frame set. Such damage is often unavoidable and can lead to claims being made by the tenant against the housing authority.

Protection of the existing frame with special steel profiles (powder coated in white or to colour choice) can be used in the vast majority of cases to upgrade the original frame to a standard suitable for the fitting of high security doors and lock systems.

Should any original frames be badly damaged or otherwise unsuitable for re-use, then total replacement will of course be necessary. This may take the form of a simple sub-frame plus armour cladding, or full frame replacement in hardwood or steel.
